Where The Ugly People Go To Get Uglier

Travel and Leisure magazine’s 2007 “America’s Favorite Cities“ rankings have come out and we are apparently worse looking than everyone in the country except for the grotesque residents of Philadelphia.  I’d say give us a chance anyway since we’re smart and fun except we actually did worse in the fun category coming in 25th out of 25.  I’ve only been in Minneapolis for about three hours but I don’t remember the people there being that hot and ditto for Denver and fun.  Who are these trolls that tourists are running into when they visit our fair city?

And it’s not even just the tourists.  T&L splits the results so you can see the rankings from visitors and residents and everyone who lives here also thinks we (and presumably they) are ugly, no fun and not particularly stylish.  Come on people! Show a little DC pride!

NoNonononononono…I will not abide….WILL NOT TOLERATE claims from anywhere between the coasts that they are stylish, attractive or cultured. It simply is not true, not even for one of my most beloved of cities, Chicago. Even the tourists get uglier there. It’s unbelievable to me that non-residents somehow forget that when you walk around the residents of these cities, you REALLY walk around them; yes, that’s a fat joke….and here’s another one: when you walk around them, most of them can catch up simply because they are on rideable scooters for obesity-purposes.

I love that Santa Fe and the Twin Cities, the veritable bastion of personal freedoms, are ranked higher by morons than DC for their gay-friendliness.

Charleston is more stylish? In what way exactly? Is tobacco a style? ARGH!!!!
